Academic Achievement & Access Center (AAAC)
The AAAC offers services and programs to assist students in their academic success and to enhance their collegiate experience at KU. Choose from academic consultations, group workshops, or general or course-specific academic assistance or tutoring.

Student Affairs CARE Referral
If you are concerned about the well-being of a particular student, you can submit a CARE referral to the Office of Student Affairs. Staff will reach out to that student to see if there is any cause for concern and if there are campus and community resources that the student could benefit from. Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS)
The CAPS office is a team of licensed psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and board-certified psychiatrists dedicated to confidentially helping students in need. They are available by appointment only.

Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equality
The Emily Taylor Center for Women and Gender Equity seeks to inform, involve, and empower members of the KU community through the practice of intersectional trans-inclusive feminism and expansive programming around gender and identity.

Headquarters Counseling Center
In addition to available over-the-phone counseling services 24/7, they take drop-ins from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, though they ask that people call ahead if they’re planning to drop by so that they counselors can be ready to help. They also take appointments for regular counseling, which costs a flat rate of $10 per session. To schedule an appointment, contact Kristin Vernon at firstname.lastname@example.org.

International Support Services
ISS provides an experienced immigration advising staff to help answer questions and process paperwork for maintaining legal student immigration status. ISS also provides a wide range of services and programs to help international students adjust to cultural life in Lawrence, Kansas. From a week long orientation program to ongoing programs to academic support for success, is here to help our international students have a rewarding and fulfilling experience while at KU.

Institutional Opportunity and Access
The IOA offers assistance and protective measures to students, faculty, and staff who report acts of harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and retaliation; provides information about health, safety, advocacy, and support resources for members of the Lawrence and Edwards campuses; performs formal investigations to detect, discontinue, and prevent violations of the Non-Discrimination Policy and Sexual Harassment Policy; and ensures University compliance with state and federal civil rights laws.

Jayhawk Student One Stop (SOS)
The Jayhawk Student One Stop serves as a resource for undergraduate and graduate students who are experiencing unforeseen challenges that prevent their ability to persist in achieving academic goals at KU. Through collaboration with campus and community partners, the Jayhawk Student One Stop acts alongside students to navigate campus administrative processes and provide personalized solutions to each of their inquiries, within the university’s policy and resources. KU Recreation Services
KU Recreation Services provides University of Kansas students, faculty, and staff with a variety of resources for physical fitness, team, and individual sports, classes, and personal training. Our cutting edge indoor and outdoor facilities accommodate a broad range of athleticism -- from beginners looking to improve their health with low impact exercise, to seasoned athletes aspiring to push their physical abilities to the next level.
