Biography —
James Stone is a Lecturer in the Department of Film and Media Studies. He has a BA in Drama Performance from the University of Washington, Seattle. Stone received his MFA in Directing Film and Television at DePaul University, Chicago. He has worked as an executive producer for the feature film Marianne and directed his first film Gloryland, in Seattle. Stone completed his film thesis, Henry for his MFA completion, filmed at the renowned Cinespace in Chicago. He operates an independent film company, Knightstone Productions, where he has produced six short films, three of which featured in international film festivals.
