Erin Gilmore

Erin Gilmore has been involved in the arts since she could walk. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (2011), a Master of Music from Emporia State University in Vocal Performance (2013) and a Master of Music from the University of Missouri Kansas City in Musicology (2022). While her research focuses on the turn of the Twentieth Century female performers in musical theater and opera, she brings a wealth of background working in various university settings at UMKC and her own experience with arts management with the opera group, The American Opera Studio, Inc, of which she is a sitting board member. She resides in Overland Park with her husband and fellow musician, John, their son Ezra (4), daughter Evelyn (20m), and two cats, Ghost and Figaro.
