Film & Media Studies offers a wide selection of filmmaking equipment for students currently enrolled in a KU FMS production course.
Our 2,000-square-foot Equipment Room houses the top brands in video, audio, and lighting gear, providing everything needed to take a project from start to finish.
Equipment Checkout
Equipment check-outs are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for students currently enrolled in production courses. You must fill out the Equipment Usage Agreement prior to checking out equipment.
If you need to reserve the FMS Soundstage or Recording Studio, you'll need to pass the Film Facilities Code of Conduct Quiz and then submit a Reservation Request.
