Summary

Ron Wilson is a Lecturer in the Department of Film and Media Studies.  His research interests include classical Hollywood cinema, crime films and television, and violence in media.  He has published essays in Mob Culture: Hidden Histories of the American Gangster Film (Rutgers) and Film Noir: The Directors (Limelight Press).  His book, The Gangster Film: Fatal Success in American Cinema (2014) was published by Wallflower Press as part of their Short Cuts series.  He is currently working on a book about film director, Quentin Tarantino.
