Lawrence film festival to debut this Spring

Wednesday, December 10, 2014

The Wild West Film Fest is set to introduce a brand new film festival format this Spring.  The 1152 Hour Film Festival is a 48 day long film competition that challenges teams of filmmakers to create a short film, 15 minutes or less, with a given set of criteria. Teams sign up before February 6th online HERE. After registering the $100 entry fee online, teams will automatically receive the secret criteria Friday, February 6th at 7:00pm via e-mail. Teams will have until Thursday, March 26th at 12:00am (midnight) to submit their film online or to a designated location.

The top films will be screened in multiple screenings through out the week of April 13. The awards ceremony presenting First, Second, Third places, and a Finalists People's Choice Award will follow that weekend. Out of town teams will compete through online voting through Vimeo.com. Keep a look out on social media and at wildwestfilmfest.org for Rules and Regulations, new information, early bird specials and more.
